The Impact Fatherlessness Has on the Boychild Join The Character Company on Saturday, 31 October, from 09:00–14:00 for a fun-filled, family-friendly day focused on an important conversation: the impact fatherlessness has on boys and young men. Many boys are growing up without the consistent presence of a father or positive male role model. Through this event, we want to create awareness around the challenges this can bring, while highlighting the powerful difference that positive MENtorship, community and intentional male role models can make. The day will feature a live music and theatre production , together with praise and worship, Q&A sessions and panel discussions exploring some of the social challenges young men face when growing up without positive male guidance. IMPORTANT: THE EVENT IS FREE! General access to the event, activities and entertainment is completely FREE — you do not need to purchase a ticket to attend. Bring the whole family, your picnic blanket, camping chairs and even your own picnic basket with food and refreshments , and find a comfortable spot to enjoy the day with us.
