You are invited to a special film screening at The Bioscope Independent Cinema, featuring two short films by Austrian Filmmaker Daria Tchapanova: ‘Haus am Gehen (2024)’ and ‘The Building – A Gritty Fairytale (2026)’. The films reflect artist-run spaces and their communities. ‘Haus am Gehen (2024)’ portrays a studio community in Vienna, while ‘The Building – A Gritty Fairytale (2026)’, told from the perspective of the director, Daria Tchapanova, explores collaboration within the August House community in Johannesburg. The film is based on research conducted during her artist residency at August House in 2025.
