This immersive performance in the historic setting of St Andrew’s church invites the audience to raise their voices alongside the choir in powerful renditions of timeless hymns such as Praise, my soul, the king of heaven, Guide me, O thou great redeemer , and the moving South African prayer Who can save our land and people? (Nkosi Yam). The choir will also sing a selection of well loved anthems from France, England, and South Africa, reaching its climax with Hubert Parry’s resplendent I was glad , promising an memorable and uplifting event for all music lovers.
