Andy, a chaotic and charming young playwright, recounts her time in acting school alongside her best friend, Freddy. A complicated and deeply talented young actor with a dark secret and a drinking habit to numb the memories. Their friendship is tested by competition for approval from the evil head of drama, Professor Porter, who unearths the truth of Freddy’s painful past to, as he claims, bring out the best in his performance. When the lines between friendship and love are blurred and trust is broken. When words are left unsaid and the truth comes out, will their love for one another survive?
