This Heritage Month, Honest Chocolate is opening up the doors to 64 Wale Street for an intimate evening exploring the history of the building and the many stories held within its walls, guided by Daiyaan Petersen . Daiyaan will guide you through the building, from the street and courtyard to some of its hidden corners, sharing stories of the people, businesses and traditions that have shaped the space over the years. We’ll also share a little of Honest Chocolate’s own story and take a closer look at how we make our chocolate from bean to bar. We’ll finish the evening with a guided bean-to-bar Chocolate tasting , brownies, homemade Cape Malay treats, alongside a coffee or hot chocolate of your choice. Your ticket includes: Honest Chocolate bean-to-bar tasting Brownie and Cape Malay dessert Coffee or hot chocolate of your choice Guided walkthrough of our historic Wale Street building Stories of the building, who lived here and its past A small cacao bean keepsake A mini zine exploring the history of the building and Honest Chocolate Event Dates: 23 September & 30th September Limited to: 12 guests per evening Cost : R300 per person Come spend an evening with us, learn a little more about the place we call home, and experience Honest Chocolate through a different lens.
