Join cultural connector and curator Mpumi Mayisa for a morning of art, conversation, and connection as we move through a curated selection of Johannesburg's galleries. Whether you're art curious, a budding collector, or a seasoned art lover, the Glide is an invitation to slow down, look closer, and experience contemporary art in community. What to Expect: – A curated journey through Johannesburg’s contemporary art scene – Guided gallery visits and exhibition walkabouts – Artist stories, curatorial insights, and cultural context – Tools to help you look at and engage with art more meaningfully – Conversations around collecting, creativity, and contemporary African art – Opportunities to discover new artists and galleries – A community of art-curious humans, collectors, creatives, and cultural enthusiasts – Breaking bread over wine and a sonic experience.
