The Friends of Orchestral Music are proud to host the Final Dress Rehearsals (FDR) of the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra Spring Season. All proceeds collected go directly to the running costs of the orchestra. A WAGNER SPECTACULAR Jeremy Silver Conductor Valerija Iljin Soprano and Owen Metsileng Tenor Overture to Der fliegende Holländer Entry of the Gods into Valhalla from Das Rheingold Scene 3 from Act I of Die Walküre Ride of the Valkyries from Act III of Die Walküre Siegfried’s Death and Funeral March from Götterdämmerung Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde ** Please note the rehearsal takes place the evening BEFORE the performance on Wednesday 23rd September at 7.30 pm The rehearsal takes place at the City Hall, Darling Street, Cape Town Free parking available on the Grand Parade Ticket donations are R135 adults R65 students.
