Join us for a cosy evening of songs, delicious foods and the warm company of friends. Ganesh has been an Observatory institution since 1995 — a room of communal tables and warm chaos where travellers, artists and locals always seem to end up side by side. Reborn now as a Thai street food spot with quarts, candlelight and live music, it still feels like somewhere you've wandered into on a trip. Dan Gregory Dan Gregory is a Cape Town producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose instrumental work has earned a name for music that's warm, groovy and nostalgic. But before the productions came the songs — and tonight he returns to them. They come from For However Long Forever Feels, his upcoming album and most personal work to date: a deconstructed-soul record built around a quietly urgent question — if memory is what makes us who we are, what happens as those memories shift, fade, or change shape? Stripped back to dreamy vocals and silky guitar lines, the songs arrive alongside the stories behind them — where they came from, what they cost, what they're about. Ruby Alix Ruby Alix is a musician from Cape Town, South Africa. Her music draws inspiration from her experiences of love, heartbreak, grief and spirituality. Her inward approach to music examines the humanity, messiness and beauty that being human gifts us. Ruby has been a performer all her life and has used music as a tool to understand, navigate and soothe the growing pains of adolescence and adulthood.
