Let's celebrate the beauty of botanicals by using dreamy blue hues! This creative, hands-on workshop will delve into the world of cyanotype printing. Sometimes also known as sun printing, cyanotype is a historic photographic printing process that is the origin of the term "blueprint". Using an assortment of pressed flowers and floral/nature-inspired printed negative images, attendees will learn about this fascinating process and how to use sunlight or UV light sources to create magical cyanotype prints of their own. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed. Details: Price: R735 pp, all materials included (Including botanicals as well as printed negatives to create prints with, cyanotype chemistry, application sponges, glass sheets, clips and boards, UV exposure units, rinse trays, sheets of pre-coated paper to experiment with, uncoated paper to practice coating the cyanotype chemistry and to further experiment with, and an A4 sheet to create a final print.)
