Join award-winning botanical artist Willie Schlechter for a beginner-friendly introduction to botanical drawing. Willie teaches Sculpture at the PJ Olivier Art Centre in Stellenbosch, facilitates regular botanical art classes, and has exhibited internationally, with work featured in the Grootbos Florilegium and the James and Shirley Sherwood Botanical Art Collection. In this workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of observation, composition and 3D rendering through guided sketches, finishing with a realistic botanical drawing to take home.
