BLUES meets Classic ROCK - The Epic Finale ! It's The last round of The Durbanville Golf Club's Live Rock n Roll for the season, and we're going out in a full blaze of glory on Friday , 25th September at 8PM . Get ready for 'BLUES meets CLASSIC ROCK' with the mighty 7-piece RICHARD PRYOR BAND — a show that takes you on a journey from smoky, soulful blues melodies straight into face-melting, hi-octane rock 'n roll. Expect nothing but legendary anthems from the golden era of the 70s & 80s . One minute you're swaying to the soul of B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Shemekia Copeland and Tina Turner, the next you're roaring with Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Bad Company, Lenny Kravitz and Bryan Adams. And that's just the start. Leading the charge is our powerhouse frontline: Dean 'Zep' Coche and Nhoza Sitsholwana — two powerful voices that pack the Thrills & will give you the Chills. Right behind them is Keyboard extroadinaire David Goldberg who packs resonant vocal punch and a passion for setting his keyboard alight with emotions. Joining the lineup we have the phenomenal Marc de Kock on Sax weaving melodic tapestries as newcomer Mika Burger rips the lowend bass grooves. Add Dillon Myburgh's thunderous, breathtaking drums, and Richard Pryor's frenzied fretboard guitar antics — and you have a musical juggernaut that will resonate long after the last chord fades. This isn't a playlist. It's live music created right in front of your eyes and ears, with soul, fire, skill & Passion. No backing tracks or Ai will be heard in the process. Final night. Final round.
